Supplements?

I have heard a lot about supplements and have been taking CLA; but now I'm seeing comments and recommendations about others like L carnitine and glucamine. I haven't seen any real change with CLA.

Has anyone had experience with supplements? Any recommendation about what is good, or should I stay away from supplements at all?

I go to the gym 4/5 times a week, and my goal is to loose fat and get toned.

Supplements?

Cal is good stick with it. Fish oil is also great. L carnivore and glutamine, which is what I think you mean, are great as well. That and of course a calorie deficit will help with fat loss. To tone you need to just concentrate on lifting and eating lean proteins.

Thanks for your reply! Any brand you would recommend?

Also, what I'm trying to do, is to have oatmeal before working out
(sometimes only coffee, because of the time) - my classes are combination of cardio and strength - and then I take a whey protein & a tbspoon of oatmeal shake (8 oz of water). Is this ok?

That seems like a good plan. Most brands for those items are fine. Vitamin shoppe has their own brand and they are high quality just no frills. (Bottles are plain, etc.) oatmeal before is fine if you can tolerate it. It will help fuel a good workout. I can't eat much before I workout because it upsets my stomach too much :( protein after is perfect. It will help you recover and build lean muscle mass. I think you have a hood routine to help you reach your goals.
