Quick update on us

All 4 kids are napping and DH ran out real quick to pick up some groceries, so just popping in to say hi! Our girls are now 5 days old and we have been home since yesterday afternoon. Last night was actually not that bad, we were able to sleep in 2-3 hr increments which is no different then when each of my boys were newborns. Now I know that won't last but I will enjoy it while I have it! We had lots of visitors in the hospital but we asked for visiting to be on hiatus for the weekend so we can try to get into some sort of routine and focus on our boys and helping them get adjusted to their sisters. I fully expect a houseful next weekend but by then I am hoping we are all up for it! Good luck to all the mommies still pregnant with their twins, it truly is the most amazing experience ever! I am so excited for all of you to experience this!

Congrats! You are my hero! You sound so upbeat for having 4 little ones in the house. 2-3 hours is great for now. I hope they stay like this and get even better with sleeping. Enjoy that they are all napping. I'm so jealous! My twins don't nap anymore and how I could really use a break right about now! GL on everyone adjusting!

You are a rockstar! I'm glad you are all doing well and finding your groove with the twins!
If you can be this upbeat with 4 little ones, it gives me hope that I can handle my twins and still show signs of life!!

Aww thank you ladies! I am most definitely not a hero, I am probably still in a hormone induced euphoria. I am exhausted and I am terrified for DH to go back to work on Monday. My in laws will be in Florida from Thursday-Tuesday, and my parents both work full time so I will definitely be panic stricken at that point! I do mean it when I say though that having twins is such an amazing experience!
