Where do you get yours and how much do you pay?

heartworm/flea/tick prevention

I do the heartworm shot for $90 which lasts for 6 months and flea and tick we do for spring and summer so 6 months I think costs us $100 I think. I pick up his next batch this weekend from the vet so I can let you know.

Thanks. The vet told me if i buy it online or in a petstore they dont come with guarantees. I guess if she actually gets heartworm the vet will treat her for free?

Thanks. The vet told me if i buy it online or in a petstore they dont come with guarantees. I guess if she actually gets heartworm the vet will treat her for free?



No, they will definitely not treat for free. Heartworm is nasty and my vet has seen 14 cases in Suffolk last year. When they say guarantee I'm assuming they mean they know their suppliers and they know they aren't getting expired meds or fake meds. Online stores you never know exactly what you are getting

yes i think they mean avoiding expired and or fake products.
