if you went passed 40 weeks
Just wondering, did you have to see your OB more often than once a week? If so, what was the schedule? A friend of mine mentioned non stress tests as a possibility.

if you went passed 40 weeks
I had a non-stress test at my 40 week appointment. Was induced 2 days later successfully.

I had a biophysical profile at least twice a week when I was overdue with DD1, I think every 2-3 days. I had her a few hours shy of 42 weeks.

My practice does non stress tests from 40 weeks onward and they get you go to 42 weeks without talking about induction.

I was induced at 41 weeks. I had to go twice at 40 weeks for non stress tests.

With my first I was a little over 40 weeks. I was suppose to see my OB twice a week but went into labor before the second appointment of my 40th week.

I go weekly starting at 40 weeks. So 40 week visit then NST @ 41 weeks then if no baby very shortly they only let you go to 42 weeks and induction.

I was induced at 40 weeks and 4 days - and I saw my OB every single day after 40 weeks (she was hopeful for any amount of progress…..which never happened for me).

Yes I went to see the dr 2 or 3 times in the week plus between the due date & the date I was induced. I had to go to the hospital for the NST which was what made them decide to do the induction. Just one of the reasons I'm hoping I don't go past my due date again this time.

I think I went in every 3 days for non stress test. I was 10 days late.

i went for a non-stress test every 2 days (starting at 40 weeks exactly). this was to make sure the baby was still active enough and fluid levels were good.
I had inductions scheduled for both kids at 41w3d for dd, and 41w2d for ds (my dr would have let me go to 42 weeks but based i wanted her to deliver so we picked the dates based on her schedule)...but ended up going into labor on my own 8 days late and 2 days late

no 1x a week during 40 & 41. we went 2x tho in wk 41 due to changing an appt day and that office not having a sono machine
