My Baby Shower was yesterday!!
Just wanted to share! Have a few pics in my album.
NOW the "holy crap" sets in as i stare at my newly cluttered apt and try to figure out where two babies are gonna fit with all this new stuff! Lol

My Baby Shower was yesterday!!
The post-baby shower time period is definitely overwhelming -- I posted about it! I'm a total OCD freak and organization is everything to me. While my shower was lovely and beautiful, the overwhelming number of gifts and things on my to-do list caused major stress! Today is actually 3 weeks from when my shower was and I can officially say that everything is finally put away/sorted. Take it slowly and know that it all doesn't have to get done immediately. I put everything into piles, which were all over my house but it helped me inventory things -- bib pile, bath pile, toy pile, etc. With clothing, I went through everything first and pulled out what I didn't like/wasn't my style and then once I had all the leftover clothing that I wanted to keep, sorted that by size. Right now in the baby's dresser, I have 0-3/newborn, 3 month and 3-6 month stuff. Everything else went into big plastic bins and down the basement. I only washed a few things and then kept tags on everything else just in case I needed to make returns since I of course don't know how big/small DD will be or what the weather/temperature will be. My suggestion for returns is to bag everything by store it needs to go back to (BRU, BBB, Kohls, Target, etc.) and throw the receipts for all the items in that same bag. This will keep everything organized and will minimize multiple trips to the same store. I kept the bags in my trunk and whenever I happened to be by one of those stores, I popped in and made my returns. IMO, it doesn't make sense to do the returns until you inventory everything -- with the money you'll get back from returns, you can put it towards things you want or things you didn't get off your registry and do it all in one trip without having to go back to that same place. You look amazing! Getting all those presents in your house is overwhelming but just go through a little at a time and it's a little easier

OMG yes I remember having ALL THAT STUFF and thank God for my sister, she helped me go through all of it and organize it.

Thanks everyone! MIL helped me tackle sorting the clothes and my mom is washing all the newborn-3/6 month stuff. All the bigger clothes I'm Putting to the side for now. Once I start my leave I'll try to find a place for everything else. Lol
