What is your PTO/Vacation/Sick Policy?
How long were you at your job once your vacation time was raised beyond 2 weeks? What is the schedule after that?
I work for a small office – 6 ee’s with no HR and no handbook.
We did not get raises this year which I was really hoping for since I’m due with my first baby later this year and I’m contemplating having a meeting with my bosses to see if I can maybe get some additional PTO – I will ask before I tell them I’m pregnant. I’m not 100% on maternity leave but I don’t think we get more that state disability for 6 weeks and they do follow FMLA even though we are less than 50 employees.

What is your PTO/Vacation/Sick Policy?
My company is 2 weeks for years 1-4, at the start of your 5th year you get 3 weeks,at the start of your 10th year you get 4 weeks. 25 years is 5 weeks
This is straight vacation time, our personal days are separated (3 annually ) and we get 8 sick days per year (none of this time carries into the next year)

What is your PTO/Vacation/Sick Policy?
After reading a bunch of past threads I see why everyone comes into my office with terrible colds and coughs (irks the heck out of me). We get 3 days a year - no personal days, just 3 sick days and 2 weeks vacation. There are people here 12, 13 and 15 years and they still get 2 weeks. The one person who's been here for like 30 years gets 5 weeks and every Friday off over the summer.

wow only 2 weeks after being with the company 15 years? They should be getting at least double that.

Re: What is your PTO/Vacation/Sick Policy?
I have been here 5 yrs and I accumulate 204 PTO hrs a yr (so around 27 days a yr). This is everything. We do not have sick/personal days on top of that. I think it goes up to 240 hrs once I reach 10 yrs.

I totally agree, I want to make sure it doesn't happen to me if I end up here that long (though if I do I'm sure it will be different owners by then)
I'm not sure if they just never asked, didn't ask the right way or got shot down.

What is your PTO/Vacation/Sick Policy?
My last place I accrued time but I wasn't there very long. I think that's the best way.
This job does not carry anything over but they do pay for unused vacation. And we only get 3 sick days which makes people come in sick all the time.

At my job you start with 3 weeks vaca 12 sick and 3 personal. We also get 5 floating holidays that accrue in January and July. After I think 5 years vacation is 4 weeks and then 10+ is 5 weeks vacation. You can roll vacation upto 2 weeks for the year. You vacation can also roll into sick time and you can carry unlimited sick time

What is your PTO/Vacation/Sick Policy?
I've been at my firm for 11 years, I get 30 PTO days. No separate sick, personal time. I think the first 5 years were 25 days.

Re: What is your PTO/Vacation/Sick Policy?
My first job was 20 vacation, 10 sick, 2 personal. Not an American company. My last job was 18 days (everything including sick, vacation, and personal). American company. Such a ridiculous amount of time for the whole year

What is your PTO/Vacation/Sick Policy?
I currently get 13 days (2 weeks vacation, 3 sick, no personal) and 8 paid holidays. We get summer Fridays in which we leave at 2:30 but we need to come in a half hour earlier. Nice incentive but we're still working the same hours.

Re: What is your PTO/Vacation/Sick Policy?
I get 9 hours PTO each pay period so every 2 weeks. No seperate sick or personal time.
Higher level positions get a little less.
