chocolate melting moments...

i tired this the other day and it was a big hit with the rest of the office. i doubled the recipe.

125 grams butter (.55 cup 1/4 lb) chopped
2 Tbsp icing sugar or 10x sugar
3/4 cup flour (not self raising)
2 Tbsp corn starch
2 Tbsp cocoa powder
1/4 cup nutella

preheat oven to 180 C or 350 F. lightly grease 2 cookie sheets. beat butter and sugar in small bowl with electric mixer until light and fluffy. stir in dry sifted ingredients, in two batches. spoon mixture into pastry bag or cookie press. put a small amount onto tray with a small amount between each cookie (they do not spead much). bake for 8-10 minutes or until firm. stand for 5 minutes then transfer to wore rack to cool. sandwich cookies with nutella. eat and enjoy!

you can also use fruit jam as well. like a chocolate butter cookie with nutella.

now, last time I was in Stop & Shop and they didn't have Natella. Where do you get it? I assume Uncle Guiss. would have it.

check out an italian deli. they always have some there.
