Do airlines give refunds for price reductions?
Or are you pretty much stuck?? I just booked our airfare for our cruise in February and most of the categories on Southwest were already booked . I booked what I could, but if prices go down, can we rebook and save some $$?

I've gotten refunds on Jetblue and American.

Hm I am not sure what southwest does - In the past the airlines don't actually give a refund but some will give you a credit for the difference that you can use towards a future flight.

Re: Do airlines give refunds for price reductions?
Thanks ladies!
A credit would be good enough! We fly SW pretty often to visit my brother and SIL in Maryland. I am just so annoyed - I checked everyday for flight info (it was too early for mid-Feb) and then one day - BAM! all the cheap options were sold out. How the heck do you go from an unpublished schedule to sold-out in literally 24-48 hours??

Southwest has something called "Ding" which will send you alerts when there are specials and people dive at those (I have never flown SW just heard people discuss this)

Re: Do airlines give refunds for price reductions?
I just did this. I'm taking a cruise out of Fort Lauderdale. I booked the tickets on Southwest. On the way to Ft. Lauderdale, we got the "internet fare" but on the way back the internet fare was sold out so I HAD to get the fun fare, which was 3x the price! When I was showing someone this at work, I saw that the internet fare was available again so I changed my reservation. I ended up saving $200 but they gave me a "credit" because the internet and fun fares are non-refundable. They said I have a year to use the credit.
