My BFF is getting married(2nd marriage) in June. The wedding starts at 11AM and is a brunch wedding. Its at the Hamlet in Commack. Obviously I wouldnt wear a cocktail dress, but I am so confused about what to wear. I am plus sized and hate sleeveless. I'm screwed!
It's a pretty nice place- I think a cocktail dress would be fine. Or if you want to go a bit less formal- a sun dress- like something you would wear to a fancier shower or a Communion or even work... Something like these:

ETA: Ack- I read it wrong- I thought you said you hate SLEEVES! Lol! I think a work-type dress would be your best bet... I always love a good faux wrap dress!
Of those posted above, I think something like this-- it is still fancier than a work or shower dress, but the colors & pattern make it a little more daytime appropriate. Even though it is brunch, and a 2nd wedding, it is at a reception hall & is still a special occasion.
