Jeans-please help!!!!!!
Hi, I need some serious help with jeans. I am about 5'5 and 130lbs. I had a baby 2 years ago- so my stomach is not what it used to be-kinda flabby! I cannot wear jeans anymore.... I have a lot of lower rise with some stretch in them. As the day goes on, I find them falling down and having to constantly hike them up- not to mention the plumbers crack when bending over. I have tried abercrombie,Daisy fuentes and express. I like Express the best. I don't want "mom" jeans that are really high waisted and I really like a little stretch.Any suggestions? Has anyone ever had cutom made jeans???? HELP

I know exactly what you mean about the jeans with lycra that seem to get bigger as you wear them.
have you tried Liz Claibrone jeans? they tend to be a little higher than the typical low rise.

Re: Jeans-please help!!!!!!
i Love american eagle jeans for all the reasons you said.... no stretchy material, the lower rise don't make me look like a plumber, and the cuts fit my body perfectly!!
theyre definitely worth checking out.

Re: Jeans-please help!!!!!!
I was your weight pre-prego (same height) and the only jeans I found were Citizens. They are expensive so I am not sure how much you are willing to spend. I recently purchased Gap low rise Curvy and they sit just below my belly button and I really like them. Both those brands do not have strech in them.

Re: Jeans-please help!!!!!!
I'm probably about your size - I'm an inch or so taller and around the same weight (just a few pounds more) and, although I haven't had a baby - I carry most of my weight around my belly - I like sevens the best. I like citizens but they are not as flattering since the ones that fit my waist are usually one inch bigger and don't make my legs look as thin if that makes sense. I wear a 27 in the Sevens and a 28 in the Citizens if that helps! Good luck

Re: Jeans-please help!!!!!!
id go to a jeans store or even to marshalls or TJ maxx where they have tons of brands-and i would try on a billion pairs
then get the length hemmed once you find the perfect cut

Re: Jeans-please help!!!!!!
I have a similar issue with getting jeans to fit. What fits my waist doesn't fit my butt and so on. Ann Taylor Loft has a new cut of pants called "Julie" which is made for women with curves. I bought them and they fit amazingly. Just a thought.

The Gap Curvy jeans have stretch in them, I am wearing them now.
I also find that Ann Taylor Loft jeans fit really well.
