Dr. Kang at CRM?

Anyone have any experiences they can share about this office/RE?

A friend has been swearing by her, and she is wearing me down, even though it would be MUCH more stressful/difficult/expensive to go to this office instead of where I'm at now. I've had three failed IVF cycles where I'm at. My friend has been successful twice with Dr. Kang. We both suffer from DOR/poor egg quality. Just wondering if anyone has any experiences to share.

Re: Dr. Kang at CRM?

A friends sister got pregnant through Kang and had great reviews. I couldn't cycle there bc they did not accept my ins but Dr. Chung and Kligman were my Drs after my endo surgery years ago and were phenomenal.

Re: Dr. Kang at CRM?

I love her! I wound up getting pregnant on my own before starting a medicated iui. But she is so smart, kind and compassionate! She was so patient with all my questions and was great at explaining everything. She even called me herself with all my lab results after my initial consult. After coming from RSofNY she was exactly what I needed.
I felt hopeless when I went to her, after to 2 years of trying to get pregnant with no reason why and a couple of losses, She made me feel hopeful again.
And once I did become pregnant she kept me as her patient longer than she usually does because she knew how anxious I was after having losses.

Thank you. I just met with my old RE, and he pretty much offered no hope. He talked about donor eggs and adoption. I made an appointment with Dr. Kang for a second opinion. Really bummed tonight.

hello ...I was just curious if there were any updates from visit to Dr.Kang? Im currently seeing her now...I just started iui with injectables today. My egg reserve it borderline normal so she thinks i may have an egg quality issue that may make it longer for me to get pregnant. Just curious if anyone had success with her for this or success with iui's?

Dr. Kang at CRM?

I saw Dr. Kang at Cornell and I'm pregnant now. We went straight to IVF. I liked her enough..she got me pregnant on my first cycle with them but more importantly I was able to stay pregnant. Because of my history with miscarriages she basically threw the kitchen sink at me. I was very happy with her and Cornell in general although if you have to go into the city for monitoring holy HELLLL it's crazy huge and crowded but they function like a well oiled machine.

Good luck!!

Hiya. Dr. Kang didn't end up being a good match for me, but it is my issue, not Dr. Kang's. Basically, I was attempting to do PGD testing at another facility, and Dr. Kang ver candidly told me that my eggs are too fragile, and will never make it to a day-5 biopsy. She said I still had a chance to get pregnant, but it would have to be a day-3 transfer, no PGD. My husband and I are not interested in moving forward without PGD, since I have a high rate of mutation in my eggs (age/family history related). Dr. Kang was very straightforward about the chance of another loss, and we decided not to proceed. I would definitely recommend her to someone, though. I appreciated her competence, candor, and avoidance of a "one size fits all" approach to my individual situation. I have a good friend who had severe issues with DOR and poor egg quality. I think she went to three RE's before Dr. Kang. She had a beautiful girl through IVF with co-culture at Cornell, and is due with a boy in December.

Best of luck!
