feeling baby hiccup

that at 18.5 weeks I feel the baby hiccuping? I don't remember feeling it this early with my other 2. It's like a constant rhythmic movement.

I can't remember when I started feeling his hiccups but I'm currently 32 weeks and he gets them all the time now. It is a rhythmic movement

feeling baby hiccup

My understanding is that usually you feel things earlier with each pregnancy.

It is definitely very cute! Lol I notice that the baby always starts moving and kicking more when he has them. DH says that he probably gets nervous haha so he'll sit next to my belly rubbing it and talking to the baby saying "it's ok buddy" lmao!

I actually didn't! With DD1, I felt flutters starting around 14-15w and my first full on kick around 19w.

With this one, I didn't really feel anything until about 19w and full on kicks around 21-22w.

Posterior placenta both times!

feeling baby hiccup

DD hiccuped in utero all the time. Unfortunately if they do it in uterine they tend to do it out too. She hiccups all the time. They say it doesn't bother babies but I can tell it drives her nuts by the help me look she gives me.

Aww I'm sure it does drive them crazy poor little things. But I do have to say that baby hiccups are just the cutest lol.

Re: feeling baby hiccup

towards the end of my pregnancy with dd1 I felt the hiccups all the time.

with this pregnancy im 26w and haven't quite felt hiccups yet, but I did feel this baby kicking earlier on around 18w with a posterior placenta. baby #1 had an anterior placenta and felt her kick around 21-22w. I had a sono the other day and the tech showed me the baby was having hiccups but I couldn't physically feel them just yet

Yeap, I don't remember either, but I love it! It feels like a steady, subtle, rhythmic movement Chat Icon
