Catholic school teachers- question
I applied years ago after finishing school, and never heard anything. I'm looking to apply again now with more experience. Can someone please point me in the right direction? Do I start with the Diocese of Rockville centre? Or is there a more direct route? Tia!
Eta: is it worth applying? Are there jobs?

This was years ago, but start with the Diocese first. I had to fill out a lot of paperwork, get something signed by my church, and then went on a Diocese interview, which approved me to apply to the schools and be interviewed. Not sure about job prospects.

I applied through the diocese of RVC and got like 5 phone calls a couple of weeks later. I ended up getting a public school job, though. You can look up the diocese online and they have the application and everything on there. You have to pay like $35 with your application too (not surprised though)

Re: Catholic school teachers- question
Yes apply through the Diocese. There are teaching jobs because there is a huge turn over because the pay is low. However it is such a rewarding career especially being able to teach religion in our student's everyday lives.
