What time of year for this dress
I stumbled upon this dress today and love it.
What time of year would you wear this?
The long sleeves and bright color are throwing me off. eta: it is a coral/pink color not red

Re: What time of year for this dress
You can get away with it now and even in summer. How heavy is the material?

Not heavy...not cheezy thin though either.
good for the godmother for a july 12 christening?
Not a fancy party after just for the church?

Re: What time of year for this dress
I love that dress and you can definitely wear it in July. But I personally wouldn't do long sleeves if it's over 80 degrees out. I would be more likely to wear it at night when it's a little cooler out.

I think style-wise it works, but I think you could end up being way too warm with the long sleeves.

I was thinking the same thing, unless its in an airconditioned restaurant..which probably wouldn't be an issue then. I usually end up with a shawl or sweater anyway because I'm always cold!

I love that color! If you really love the fit of the dress and the color for July, you could maybe have the sleeves removed or shortened to make it more summer friendly. But most places are air conditioned in the summer anyway, unless it's an outdoor event.
