patience in early pregnancy
So I had a missed miscarriage in December. Had no signs or symptoms that I miscarried, that the HB had stopped etc. I went along like I was still pregnant for at least a week and a half after the passing until I went for my second sono at 8 weeks and was told I had miscarried.
While I'm really excited to be pregnant again (still very early), I am finding it so unnerving to not know if everything is "ok" - wish my uterus had a window! I have very few "symptoms' of pregnancy, which I know doesn't mean anything one or the other, but I cant wait until I can actually feel the bean so that I can be assured on a daily basis that all is well. To top it off, I'm waiting until 8 weeks to have my first sono this time around (while I know they say internal sonos are safe, I miscarried only days after my first sono which was like at 6wk5d, so I'd rather just give the bean a chance to get bigger and stronger - just to be on the safe side because I do hear it common that women go to the sono and days later miscarry - coincidence i'm sure -- but........) so I still have like a little less than 3 weeks before I go for the sono.
Anybody else feel very anxious? I know I have no control over anything but it's SO hard to not know that everything is progessing, especially now understanding fully that things can and do go wrong having been through it before.

it takes a long time. I requested a sonogram early, and my doctors office obliged, because of my history of early losses. With each milestone you will feel better. Good luck! And Congratulations!

Thanks. Part of me wants a sono now but I am doing my best to wait it out and trust that all is ok since I want the bean to be as healthy and strong as possible beforehand since, as right or wrong as I might be, having a sono too early makes me nervous. I wish I was throwing up right now LOL....it would make me feel better :)

I had an internal sonogram with Hailey every week until 12w. I promise it had nothing to do with your loss... i also had a 8w loss in Dec and the baby stopped growing just days after my sonogram. I will be 11w on Saturday. Ive also had more than a handful off other losses... it will never just be a normal non worry pregnancy if youve had a loss... Just take it one day at a time.
