Am I being a baby?
I went to the OB Wednesday night. She did the doppler, had trouble finding the hb so called for the US machine. She found it just as the US machine arrived. It took a good 5 minutes of literally digging the wand into my belly to find it. I asked that she do the US anyway and she did (baby was fine, just moving a lot).
My stomach is so sore. It hurts. A lot. DH and my mom say I'm being ridiculous, but 2 days later it's still killing me.
Has this happened to anyone or am I being a big baby?

Am I being a baby?
Happened to me a lot with DD1. Not so much this time around. But yes I recall being sore the next day after several sonos. Definitely not being a baby! It hurts!

Re: Am I being a baby?
I remember being sore too, even after big sonograms.

Lol. Yeah that'll make your blood boil. Although I have to say, a kidney stone is actually worse pain than labor. No joke.

Lol. I've been saying this throughout my pregnancy. I was scheduled cs and I every time I need an iv I think of how much worse labor pain would be.
Sometimes they need to push harder depending on babies position

Re: Am I being a baby?
My belly was always so sore for days after all my external ultrasounds. They always pushed so hard to get the shots they needed

At least your baby is ok.
Lol... You are probably more on the sensitive side!

Re: Am I being a baby?
Thanks. I looked closer and there was actually some bruising. I guess I have a weirdly sensitive stomach. She could have ripped my skin off, finding that hb would have been worth it, no complaining here!

What matters is that the baby is okay and that they were able to find the heartbeat. But on a joking/serious note, you'll likely want an epidural ASAP when in labor!

Re: Am I being a baby?
You are not being a baby. I remember with my twins, they had to push my stomach so hard to get them in the right position for some sonos that I swear I would be sore for sometimes a week later. Of course it was worth it to make sure all was ok, but ouch.
