WHY?!?
Why do all the lasagna boxes come with 14 pieces if all the lasagna recipes call for 16 pieces!!!
If I open a second box, what the heck can I do with 12 leftover lasagna pieces...

This is like how hot dog buns come 8 per pack, but hot dogs are 7 per pack. Stupid

if you make it in a 13x9 pan it should be fine. I always use just 1 box. 3 sheets per layer and it comes out even.

WHY?!?
You can make lasagna roll ups with the remaining pieces and get a whole new tray to put in the freezer for another night to take and bake.

I'd either just use 1 box or buy a second and use the extra for lasagna rolls or something like that.

Ooh that is a great idea!
and yea, my grandfather would freeze unused lasagna sheets so they would last longer.
