If you see or saw a RE
Did they have to draw betas super early in the morning? I have another child and do not want anyone to know we are pregnant until we are out of the woods. The early appts are making this very difficult due to babysitting.
I am wondering if I should just go to my regular OB since this happened naturally, and they fit more with my schedule.

They do the beta early in the day so they can get results back same day for you. I always had results shortly after lunchtime.

I always went to the lab for betas, they gave me scrips so I could go when I was able.

You only need a few betas w a natural pregnancy & I did not see an RE w the natural pregnancy... So, yes, late in the day betas.

I went early and just brought ds1 with me. No other option.

Ask your dr for a script and do it at Quest on your own time. You can bring DS with you.

It depends on your RE. I did betas in the morning and the last appointment was 9:45am for them at the RE I used. They would call around lunch hour with numbers and instructions.

If you see or saw a RE
You can go to a lab place and have the dr write stat on it and you should get the results the same day. That's what I did when I was not local to my RE for one of my blood tests.

Will your RE even see you if you conceived naturally? We conceived naturally this time and my RE (RSofNY Mineola) wouldn't see me.

Yes, I have had a couple miscarriages and a D&C for a late one, so they want to make sure all my levels are OK for the first 8 weeks.

I would go to my OB then. I went to my OB for my 3rd child (surprise pregnancy).
