A-line, empire waist, and I think thicker fabric and structure! You don't want thin, flimsy fabric that is going to cling to your, you want the dress to have shape on its own.

I wore a dress like this.... not this one but I did purchase this dress... when I was 5 months pregnant. People kept telling me that they couldn't tell I was pregnant... they already knew that I was... it hid everything perfectly

With baby #3 we didn't tell anyone until I was 12 weeks. At 10 weeks we had a wedding to attend and I didn't know how big I was going to get in the chest or belly department.
I ended up wearing a one shoulder fitted, empire waist, rouched dressed. From the empire all the way down to the knee was rouched. Nobody knew I was pregnant! I also knew if I showed up in anything fit-n-flare someone would question me because I would never wear something like that.
