the kicker is that it sucked.

so, now i have a HUGE bowl of leftover penne with marinara and meatballs... that NO ONE wants to touch.

the reason it sucked is that it was unseasoned... nothing was added, there wasn't enough sauce... etc. very bland.

so i'm asking you, how can i revive these leftovers so they don't go to waste?

help.

thanks

Make a baked ziti type thing. Make some really zesty/flavorful sauce (something that might even be TOO seasoned on its own) with lots of spice, herbs, garlic etc to mix with it

ETA you can smash up the meatballs in the sauce. maybe add some browned sausage too.

i agree with making it into a baked bolognese type dish. that way you can add way extra sauce, spice up the sauce, make sure there is grated parm cheese if you dont melt cheese on top and have some bread on the side.

ditch the cooked pasta and salvage the meatballs and sauce by crumbling the meat and using it as a base to new sauce for anything -
