Joining the TTC club

Thought I'd say hi since I'm officially a TTC'er! Yay.

DH and I have been TTC for 2 months. The 1st month was the month before our wedding and we were SUPER stressed. I knew immediately I wasn't preggers and that probably wasn't a wise time to start. Last month was our HM. I really thought I would get a BFP but no such luck.

I got my smiley face Saturday morning though so hopefully this will be my month. A lot of non TTC-related stress has been relieved so I'm hoping that will help. Now it's the 2 ww. Hate this part!

I would just like to say - I thought baby making would be way more fun than it is. We DTD Saturday and yesterday, plus today just in case. We literally set an alarm clock early so I wouldn't have to get right up afterwards. Took all the romance out.

ETA: I feel like EVERYONE is getting pregnant and it's making my baby fever even worse. My SIL just announced, a friend of a friend just announced, another friend just gave birth.... I hope it's my turn soon.

Welcome!!! I hope your stay here is short and sweet!

Try not to get down- your time will come. And you're right, stress is a huge factor. I know it's SO hard to see all these people getting pregnant and having babies, but then again, who knows how long THOSE people were struggling, ya know? You're not alone, and it will happen.

Welcome! I'm also a recent bride and started TTC soon after wedding, I got my BFP this month so good luck to you!

Yes, sadly this TTC process can suck the passion out of DTD. We didn't set alarms but I was getting a little crazy the week of O until I get my smiley face...DH felt that it was just a lot of pressure on him. I will say that as soon as I got the BFP, DTD got SO much better.
