Having been in that house, I feel like it can be renovated so beautifully. I would expect them to close in the mid 6s.

Is this your house? I'm not trying to be rude, but if it is you should have a serious conversation with your REA. It won't sell for that price here, and you're missing out on a lot of potential buyers listing it that high. Only upgraded, renovated houses sell for that much money here...

no not mine. just someone I know- I said I would spread the word for them. no offense taken! It is a very big house, and I am very familiar with the area. My closing price "guess" would be like 650-ish. Not my place to tell them that, though

That price is insane. No offense to the poster! But thats really super high. I have to agree if they get close to that number Id be really surprised.

They'll be lucky if they get 650 as a lot of people looking in that range are looking for more of the colonial, Tudor, old timey Classic feel rather than the 50-60s look.
You never know though...there's not a lot to choose from here right now! Good luck to them!

house for sale
yeah, there's not a whole lot listed in the area right now. BUT, there is a beautiful tudor home for sale in the area and the kitchen is out of this world!
There were a lot more homes for sale in the spring- I feel like you get more people looking in the summertime because of the school year
