What color faux wood blinds with Thick white mouldings
Hey guys
Before I ask any opinions I should say our house is a bar harbor beige color and our wood floors are like a cherry stained color- rich looking floors and neutral walls. We have lots of windows, 11 foot ceilings, thick white mouldings and get a ton of natural light -
Been back and forth about window treatments- cellular (aka honeycomb) vs faux wood blinds-
One lady from a company that gave us estimates and ideas said if we decide on wood blinds, she would do a dark colored wood blind instead of a white blind.
Initially I thought no, but now I'm thinking a dark color would make the trim really pop.
What do you guys think? Any pics would be great!
Eta: I saw the two responses so far- I should add that these windows that I'm talking about are only in the back of our house. that is a good call though about being able to see dark in the front of the house. If we do these blinds in our bedrooms (which face the front) that's something to keep in mind- thanks!

Not a fan of the wood color. I'd get the white.

I prefer white. Also, keep in mind that when you close the blinds, the brown will show on the outside of the house too.

This. When we bought our house they had white ones in every room but one room in the front of house was brown and I hated the way it looked from the outside.

I have white in every room and I like it a lot. I have valences above the molding in a couple of rooms and the white looks good with the curtains. I am not a fan of dark wood blinds.

I have white too. They are faux wood blinds. Have you thought of woven shades? I have in the den and the bathrooms. They come in a lot of different shades. They aren't opaque but you can add a liner if desired.
