Re: In need of EASY pulled pork crock pot recipe please
this is my sister's recipe. not sure where she got it from, but everyone who has it LOVES it.
* pork shoulder * 20oz A&W rootbeet * package onion soup mix * (2) bottle of your favorite bbq sauce
dump all ingredients in crock pot and cook low for 8 hours.
remove from crock pot and shred. enjoy!!
i then skim as much of the fat from the "sauce." this is too runny to be the sauce to put over the meat, i use some of it to thin out some more bbq sauce. this is what i then pour over the meat.
we enjoy this in sandwiches on crusty bread with cole slaw and pickles.
SO calls this recipe the best pulled pork he's ever had.
enjoy!

I love using pork shoulder, but when I am pressed for time, the shredding, trimming, skimming, etc can be a chore. Boneless pork loin is much quicker, but be sure not to overcook! You can use same recipe for both cuts.

I slice an onion and put a pork shoulder on top. Add root beer and cook on low at least 8 hours. Then shred the meat, dump the liquid, and stir in sweet baby rays bbq sauce and let it warn through.

How many lbs pork shoulder? And a can of root beer? This looks easy enough for my sorry cooking self LOL

I usually just look for one that isn't crazy big so it will fit in my crockpot. Also, sometimes too big and it will take forever to cook through. But it does freeze really well so I don't mind leftovers. As for the root beer I buy a bottle and add a few inches worth or eyeball what a can would hold. It's a pretty forgiving recipe!

Pork shoulder cut up onion can of pineapple chunks and juice handful of brown sugar your favorite BBQ sauce.
Cook 8-10 hours on low. Shred and remove most of the liquid, but not all. Add more BBQ sauce and cook for half hour more. I serve on rolls with coleslaw.

I have made a couple of hers- the asian pork is so good! It's not a true pulled pork but totally falls apart.

In need of EASY pulled pork crock pot recipe please
I tried BBQ tonight. It was a big hit with my picky 6 year old.
Recipe: 6 Chicken breast---I used boneless because that's what I had 1 bottle (small) Sweet baby Rays BBQ sauce 1/4 cup brown sugar Splash of white Vinegar Cook on low 6-8 hrs
Mine was on for 8--Came out great. I would have shredded, but DH prepped so he just cut it up for the kids. It wasn't mushy or falling apart at all. He made brown rice with it.
