Mass in finger
A few years ago I fractured my finger. It has never healed. Recently the finger has begun to swell again. I had an MRI about a week and a half ago and they found a mass on the tendon sheath. Originally the finger was measuring 11mm bigger. The mass measured 1.1 cm on the MRI. I see the hand surgeon tomorrow. I'm starting to get a little nervous. Has anyone ever had something similar?

I have a 13mm mass. It has grown over 2mm in 2 weeks. They are going to try to remove it and save the nerve. If not I will have a second surgery to remove the nerve. The surgeon said they wil biopsy the mass and I should have the pathology report 2 weeks after surgery. Surgery will be November 2nd. Thanks for asking.
