Requested IEP review, have an independant report -should i disclose it before?

son is in CSE, requested IEP to get more speech and OT.
We have also done an individual Psychological testing as we are applying for the respite process , and we are thinking of giving it as additional paper work on my son.
Should I be sending it to the school district well in advance, or can I just give it at the meeting ?

I would just cal them and ask. Every chairperson is different. While some might accept it and just briefly look over it during the meeting, some might want to re-meet to discuss that portion.

If I had testing done and it will support my request to get additional services, I would send it in advance of the meeting, so they can review it before the meeting. My feeling is that if you give it at the meeting, it will drag out the process because they will want time to review it, consider doing their own eval, etc.

I'm assuming the school did their own evaluations since you are asking for more services? Does the findings support your need for more services? If it does then I would not disclose your independent evaluation. If your findings differ from the schools then I would forward them a copy prior to the CSE meeting.
