Steinmart?
Anyone ever shop here? How is it? Any good?
I just noticed they are opening (or opened already) one in Commack where the MJM Shoes used to be.
I think I have seen some random commercials for them but never paid much attention because there was never one near me.
What's it like?

Steinmart?
I've been to the one in Commack a couple of times. It's OK, nothing fantastic. I bought something and wound up returning it. I did see some things that looked cute last time I was there, but was returning and not really in a shopping mood (a rare event!) It seems like it could be hit or miss. They did have some really nice holiday decor items that I think I will wind up going back for

Yes.
Sort of - but they do not have racks of items sorted by size instead of item type (all of the X brand blue sweaters are together, and all of the Y brand red blouses are together. Not like Marshalls etc where there are racks and racks of all Medium size sweaters, that you have to look through for something you might like - I hate shopping like that).

My mom loves it. She just bought me a quilt and shams from one near her in FL. I have to say I love the quilt and it was 29$$$
Clothes not sure about.

It's like a tj max for the elderly. They're around me in FL. Do you remember Swezeys in west Babylon? It's just like that

Steinmart?
I dunno what Steinmart you guys were shopping in but there was one in Queens a few years ago and it was awesome. I was in my early-mid 20's when it was open and found TONS of stuff and I have never dressed like Dorothy Zbornak. My bff and I occasionally mention we're wearing something from there and it turns into a 20 minute discussion of how much we miss it.
I found it to be much nicer than TJ Maxx and definitely nicer than Marshalls. Everything was always neat and organized. Their home stuff is great and cheap.
I REALLY hope the one in Commack is good.
