Urine test
At each monthly visit, does anyone know what exactly they are checking for with the urine sample and dipstick?

Re: Urine test
I was told they are looking for sugar (could indicate gestational diabetes) and protein (sign of UTI or preeclampsia). There may be some other things I'm missing but I think those are the main ones.

Re: Urine test
Keytones, protein, and sugar.
Keytones- make sure you are hydrated Protein- Check to make sure you don't have a UTI or any other bacterial infection Sugar. I know because at some point during my pregnancy each of these were an issue.
