Neck pain causing nerve pain in arm

I have had neck pain for years. Now it's getting worse! I feel like it's going down my arm and tonight I feel like my arm fell asleep. This has happened before . Does this sound like nerve pain from neck? Of course I get scared it could be more. Thanks

That happened to me! I have a herniation from 2 discs in my neck and it was shooting down my arm into my fingers... would feel like pins and needles.

My Dr. had me do a bunch of cardiac tests to make sure it wasn't heart-related... had an MRI as well and a nerve test. Started PT and anti inflammatories and when the inflammation went down, the numbness stopped.

I'd go to the dr to make sure... it was a pain to do all of the tests (took a long time too) but better to be safe than sorry! Hope you feel better soon!

Sounds like a herniated disc or pinched nerve.

Yes, it could be a pinched nerve. I had numbness in my hands and it wound up being caused by a pinched nerve.

Yes. Sounds like a pinched nerve. I'm dealing with this right now. I'm gonna try to get over to my chiropractor this week for an adjustment. See if that helps

I had a severely herniated disc in my neck that caused the same symptoms. The pain was very bad and my hand was starting to get weak so I had surgery.
