Help! Friends-giving related
I'm having around 10 people over for friends-giving this weekend.
I was going to do the traditional turkey and fixin's, but I'm just EH about it.
Thinking a few chickens or a turkey breast, but nothing sounds exciting, and I don't think everyone will want a very similar meal a few days later.
Help! I'm lost. I'll take any suggestions.

Help! Friends-giving related
I was just talking to a friend of mine who lives in California and she said that instead of Turkey for Thanksgiving, she is making a tri-tip roast, at her Dh's request. She said it's pretty popular to do that out there. So maybe you could try that?

Help! Friends-giving related
We did friends giving 2 weeks ago. We did all diff types of pasta and sauce. We had a a nice sauce with meatballs and sausage, a pesto, white clam and a la vodka. Garlic bread and salad, good red wine. It was great!

You could do a turkey dish in a different way:
Turkey meatloaf stuffed with stuffing
Turkey breast stuffed with stuffing
Turkey chili
Shredded turkey turned into fajitas

I think it's fine to still do turkey because it is a Thanksgiving celebration. Can you deep fry it instead of roasting it perhaps?
