WDYT? Super faint line UPDATE

I tested this morning both in the middle of the night and then when I woke up again. Both times, the lines were very faint. By now, I was expecting them to be much darker. AF arrived on 11/15. I don't have 28 day cycles. Based on my CM, I'm pretty sure I ovulated on 11/30. My temp went up on 12/1. However, my temp dropped below the cover line the next day, then hovered at the cover line on the 2 days after that. I had a huge jump in temperature on 12/5. We BD on 11/27 and 29. If I O'd on 11/30, today would be 18 days of high temps. If it happened on 12/4, it would only be 14 days, but the timing of BD doesn't seem right for that. My LP is usually 12 to 13 days at most.

My only symptom is very sore boobs. With my other pregnancies, I had more symptoms and lots of cramping before my BFP. I know each pregnancy is different, but the super faint lines on FRER are throwing me off. If it's supposed to detect hcg up to 5 or 6 days before a missed period, I'd expect a dark line by now. Is this a chemical? Do I have any hope? My temps are still high (in the 98.2-98.6 range). WDYT?

A line is a line. So for now, you're pg. But at this many DPO, I agree it should be darker. I'd test again today and see if it gets lighter (a chemical) or darker (then congrats!).

Well, it's definitely a line, so you're pregnant! But like PP said, based on the DPO that you are, it really should be darker by now. I would call your OB and have them run your betas just to be sure they are rising the way they should be. Maybe you were just a late implanter or maybe you O'd later than you thought. But it could also be a chemical or an ectopic.

Update:

So I held out and just took several tests. The lines came up instantly and the FRER is definitely darker than on Friday. I also took a digital that came up quickly. The pictures are in my album. I know because I waited several days my numbers could still be low, but I'm going to try to stay positive for now and finally call my doctor to make an appointment.
