Lifting a house
Any one have any idea about how much it is to lift a house? Its not my own house but if I were to buy a house that needed to be lifted.

Re: Lifting a house
It will vary depending on the size of the house and location. $20-30K is really for a small home and I would guess thats really an extremely low cost and doesn't factor all other incidentals like moving around plumbing/electrical, etc.
Here is a link addressing house lifting on the Jersey shore after Sandy. It says the higher end can be up to $200K.
