I want to make a fun dessert with popcorn like a birthday cake flavor using Xmas color sprinkles
Has anyone ever made this before and is it easy?

I always see recipes on pinterest and want to try them but dd doesn't like popcorn so I haven't made any yet. They seem pretty easy.

I made it, just a small size to see how it came out and wow!!! It's so easy and delish! I wanted to bring something besides cookies or cake and something "light" that people can just pick at.
So you pop popcorn, drizzle melted butter then sprinkle graham cracker crumbs and mini marshmallows over it. Then you drizzle melted chocolate chips and mix all together. I did it on a cookie tray with parchment paper
For the birthday cake one you use yellow cake mix instead of graham cracker crumbs and white chocolate then add sprinkles to make festive
Enjoy!!!!

So is it buttered popcorn or just plain?

I used my air popper and popped plain popcorn then drizzled some butter so the graham cracker crumbs has something to stick too
You don't have to use bitter though you can drizzle the melted chocolate first and then sprinkle the graham crackers

For the other recipe you can mix the cake mix into the melted chocolate instead of butter
