shrimp crockpot recipe
i have shrimp in the freezer and want to do something in the corckpot with it... anyone have a recipe??

I'm thinking there won't be many because shrimp cook quickly. I have seen a gumbo recipe but you add the shrimp at the end. I would personally save the shrimp for a non crockpot recipe. There are lots of 15 minute or less recipes for shrimp.

Agreed. They would just end up tough an overcooked. I've done jambalaya in the crockpot but the shrimp go in just for the last few minutes.

shrimp crockpot recipe
We just did this for NYE and it was a hit......The recipe was based off of 1lb shrimp, 1 stick of butter and three cloves of minced garlic cook on low for 1.5 hrs. You need to stir it occasionally. I was surprised that it did not dry out. Then we added spices I don't remember what exactly off hand. I'll post if I can find the recipe.
ETA: The seasonings were similar to this recipe but it was added after the shrimp were fully cooked already.

You can make shrimp scampi on the stove top in about 20 minutes.
