Snow / Winter boots w/ a zipper?
I had a pair of Merrell's I bought last year and I LOVE - They have full zippers on the inner side of the boots, AND laces
Anyone know of anything similar?
The zipper broke on mine up in VT this past weekend and I'm SO mad 
I have SUCH a hard time w/ boots b/c I have a crazy high instep so I can't get my foot into most (FORGET the Sorel "Joan of Arctic" everyone loves - NOT happening for me!)

can you bring them to a shoemaker to get fixed?

I'm pretty sure there's a lifetime guarantee on Merrell products. DH is very brand loyal to them and has sent his boots in for a repair (more than once). They fixed the soles due to wear and tear and once replaced shoes because they couldn't fix the problem.
