My favorite restaurant for shrimp scampi is Domenicos Restaurant in Levittown. It is delicious. Unfortunately for me, I've developed a shrimp allergy and can no longer eat it.

Buteras (Sayville and Smithtown) has Shrimp Limoncello, which is like scampi with a twist. I love it!

My mom swears by Medford Pastarias shrimp scampi and she's straight Sicilian who cooks her own everything.

Interesting as I live in Medford and don't find their food anything great. Maybe I'll have to try that dish now

oh this is good to know. I think they opened a buteras in oceanside. Have to try it out.
