Baby Girl is here!
Kaiden Elizabeth was born last Wednesday 1/6/16 at 6:19pm! I went to the OB on Wednesday at 38 weeks at 1130am for an exam to see how far along I was and if he could get something started since I was having contractions that kept starting and stopping for over a week! I was still at 2cm and while he was doing the internal my water broke!!
I went straight to LIJ and it was packed. I waited a little over an hour and was having mild contractions. I had to also wait in triage for a while before getting a room! I got a room around 315pm and got the epi shortly after. Contractions had picked up and I was 4cm.
I was able to relax for a little while but then the epi started to wear off. I had a button for it so I pressed it a few times but it didn't really work after that. I think baby was coming too fast! I was checked at 5:45 and I was 6cm. At 6pm I started having a lot of pain in my butt with contractions and felt the urge to push. I told DH to go tell the nurse but they miscommunicated and she thought I was just having pain. When she finally came in I was like "I need to push NOW! I can't wait for the DR!!"
The Dr came in and checked me and was like YUP! They set me up and I pushed 2x and she was out!!! She weighed 7lbs 1oz and 19inches long. So far she is a really good baby! My 3yo DS and 2yoDD have been so good with her and love her so much!!!
