feral cat
I have this cat that has been coming to my house for a few years now. So i started feeding it when it came by. For the past 6 months it won't eat anything I out out. I feel so bad it will come up to my door and stare in the house waiting. One day i gave him a turkey meatball cut and warmed and he ate most of it but next time wouldn't. I tried warm oatmeal he ate some of it but again next time wouldn't. I don't want to ignore him but I buy cat food and end up throwing it out. Any suggestions?

Are you sure he's feral ? Have you put out dry cat food ? Some cats don't like wet, and people food is not always good for them.

Re: feral cat
He's been wandering around the neighborhood for years. won't let you anywhere near him. I believe he still lives under my back deck. But he only comes to my front door.
I will try some dry food

Gotcha. Other people may be feeding him, so he's not hungry. Justbeing his version of social when he comes to your door.
