after D&C

On Friday it was 6 weeks since my D&C. Had my 2 week follow up and my doctor said my period should be here in 2-4 weeks from then. Well tomorrow will be 4 weeks since the appointment and no period and no symptoms. Going to wait till Tuesday to call but was wondering has anyone gotten their period after 6 weeks?

I had a D&C Sept 2014 and didn't get my period for weeks on end even after being given medicine to induce it. Turns out the D&C caused scarring and I needed surgery - that's a worse case scenario but I wouldn't wait to call.

I got AF 6 weeks after the D&C -- and I lightly bled/spotted all the way up until about 3 days before AF showed up (AF bleeding was different). It may just take a bit and even without symptoms she still may arrive --- I used to get very sore breasts before AF and that time, and a few times afterwards, my breasts were completely fine. I think it just takes some time for the body to regulate itself back to normal. Big hugs!
