I watched. Pretty interesting. Thought it was done well. Have no sympathy for anyone and still can't decide if his sons knew or not.

I loved it. He is a monster. I truly believe his sons did not know. I feel they may have had suspicions but nothing to the extreme it was.

I didnt watch the show but I grew up with a guy who is the son of Madoff's Accountant. They had to give up their home and forfeit over $3 million. I believe his father is serving time, although he did cooperate with authorities. He has since changed his last name so that he isn't associated with his father. Sadly, I don't think his dad actually knew what was going on either. He had invested practically all of the families money (college funds for all 3 of his children and their retirement money) in Madoff's accounts and lost it ALL to his scheme.

I liked it a lot , thought it was really well done and Richard Dryfess was great! If the way the sons were portrayed in the movie is accurate, then I don't think they knew anything.

I was really interested in this show. I found it fascinating honestly. Does anyone know where the story came from? Meaning whose perspective it was from? Or was it created based on information from all sides?

I'm interested in knowing that because at this point, assuming that movie was true, I have several thoughts. I do feel very bad for the sons and even the wife and the brother. It was very sad what happened to that whole family really. Its unfathomable that he could do that to his family. He is a total sociopath. The devastation he caused people is just horrendous. The SEC was made to look like a bunch of boobs. Did they really know since 1999 from that guy and didn't respond at all? That's absurd.

it really is so crazy and sad. I watched the documentary that followed after the program and I was just in disbelief.

I hate to say it, and I hope I'm wrong, but I just can't see how his wife and his sons and maybe even his daughter-in-law's… Didn't realize that he was up to something shady. I don't think they knew the details or extend but.. A lot of people have someone in their family that always seems to have a ton of money and you can't quite understand how they obtain it or what they do for a job and you really wonder… And maybe this was like that. One of my friends married into a family like that… And we would always joke about what she probably married into!

Im also so shocked that he could get away with something like that for so long and it go completely undetected. The whole thing is just baffling. And yes I truly believe he's a sociopath.

One of the things that really stood out to me was that they said that these type of schemes are still happening right now. That's just so hard to imagine.
