Furniture stores?
I'm looking to purchase new bedroom furniture. I want great quality that won't break the bank. I've looked at Ashley, Raymour and Flannigan, and haven't seen anything I ,Ike. I love some Ethan Allan but it is very pricey. Any good brands in between? Thanks!

Re: Furniture stores?
Maybe Bassett?
I'm a big Ethan Allen fan as well, but they're very pricey.
Our bedroom furniture is Raymour. We purchased it about 4 years ago and I'm very unhappy with how it's holding up. The tops of the nightstands and dresser are chipping, peeling, warping. IMO their furniture is crap. Same with our living room sectional - that is from Ashley and we literally bought it less than 6 months ago. It's already sagging and pilling everywhere. And we're not hard on our furniture. Next time I'd rather spend the extra money and get REAL wood, quality furniture.

Furniture stores?
I am wondering the same thing-- you can try sample sales or sales in general for restoration hardware and ethan allen.. .. also have been hearing about Peter Andrews a lot lately. I agree with the PP poster I have some pieces from raymour and flanigan- mostly our office furniture and the quality is AWFUL> I wont purchase my living room or dining room furniture from them.

Re: Furniture stores?
For retail furniture, I love shopping at Peter Andrews. I often find great deals and sales, especially in the back sale room.
If you need or want design assistance, I am a local designer and would be happy to help you source something that suits your taste and budget.
Good luck!
