I would get 2 comfy chairs and put that table you have in the corner in between them.

What are you using the room for? The chest makes me think dining room. But if your not using it as that I'd want to know what the purpose of the room is before suggesting furniture.

I would not add a sitting area in a dining room.

Re-evaluate once table and chairs are placed. If you still feel you need to furnish the space then maybe a bar/wine buffet.

ETA: just re-read that you have a table and a buffet next to the china cabinet. is that all on the same wall?
