The People v. O.J. Simpson: American Crime Story
I will never forget the moment I heard the verdict. Or the feeling of sickening shock.
So it's interesting for me to watch it play out on this made-for-tv style series with so much well known talent. I think it's great so far.
Has anyone else started watching this?

I love it! I could do without all of the Kardashian kid references....once was enough but they seem to be mentioning it every episode. We get it! He's their dad! Move along! But otherwise, I'm loving it and slightly obsessed.

Re: The People v. O.J. Simpson: American Crime Story
I watched the first 2 episodes, I DVR'd last night since DH wasn't home.
I really like it; however, I will say that I dont LOVE Cuba as OJ
And I hate how much they are trying to incorporate the Kardashian family. Yes I understand that Robert was a HUGE part of what happened but come on.

The People v. O.J. Simpson: American Crime Story
I am going to watch ep 3 tonight. I cant get enough.
And frankly it was the right verdict. In our country it makes no difference if you are guilty or innocent. It has everything to do with how good your lawyers are.
The jury was not given enough to convict, so they could not.
Just like wassername in Florida who killed her 3 year old.
And the COUNTLESS amount of black men in jail who don't have good lawyers.
And the COUNTLESS amount of people on death row who are innocent.

Yeah I don't think Cuba is a great OJ. Everyone else is pretty spot on though

The People v. O.J. Simpson: American Crime Story
I watched the 1st two episodes. I liked it. I just don't understand why they made this movie sooooo many years later. And yes, I agree about the Kardashian references. So annoying. Especially at the funeral: 'Khloe, Kim, Kourtney, no running' (or whatever "Kris" said)...that's dumb. And for the record. I CAN'T believe he was found not guilty.

I agree about Cuba as OJ.
First, OJ was huge. And his face...it just doesn't look anything like him. But I'm trying to get used to it.
And the K-dash references are too obvious. No subtlety when it comes them anyhow, so... ¯\_(?)_/¯

I totally agree. They shouldn't even be in the series, but I'm sure it's a marketing thing...like they're trying to capitalize and get the kardashian fans to watch

Hahah so are we!! They don't need to have the kids there so much... Anyone notice the last episode where "Kim" was spelling kardashian.. She kind of stopped in the middle.. It was weird

I thought the opening scene was hilarious, when Robert was lecturing them about fame. It was like they totally did that on purpose to make fun of them. And I thought he was a well knows lawyer this portrays him as a nobody.. How were they so wealthy, and in the first episode they made mention of him getting his licence back what was he doing if he wasn't a lawyer.

according to wikipedia
"In 1973, Kardashian was one of the co-founders of the trade publication Radio & Records, which he and his partners sold for a large profit in 1979."
his parents were also wealthy

I was so annoyed with the scene but then read it was a personal jab at the Kardashins..saying their father would be ashamed of them and how they got "famous".

Said the same thing too. The scene when he was telling the fame was not important, if that's how he was he must be rolling in his grave right now.

Just started watching this now. The scene where one of her kids calls from the police dept and leaves a message on her machine crying asking for her to come get them had me in tears.
