Need decorating help...
I am torn between pale yellow or a light purple color for the walls....

A pale yellow might be nice bc it will make the border pop a little more. Depending on the shade of purple the border might blend in too much.

We might be doing a wood floor...
if I do the purple wall and purple border, the wall will be very light purple, lighter than the border...

I think yellow would be better - it'll make the purple stand out more.

Even though purple is my FAVORITE color and I'd always chose that over anything....
I aggree that the yellow might make the border "pop" more since there is a lot of purple in the border already.
Have you even thought about a light sage green for the walls? Green and purple go very well together.

yellow would be nice, but I honestly think sage green would look awsome! That border is adorable, and sage would really compliment the leaves from the flowers. JMO though. Yellow would look pretty too

I say yellow but I heard yellow isn't a pleasing color and should never be used for a room where people sleep unless it is a guest room... hence your guests won't stay too long..
But I think the right shade of yellow or yellow/purple would be great!

Dh thinks the yellow with the purple border doesnt go...I will show him the sample purple border (when I get it) up against the pale yellow...I think it would look nice too...
