BD schedule - quick question
I O'ed yesterday (I got my smiley on Sunday morning and had O pain on Monday late afternoon).
We BD'ed on Saturday and Sunday, so the 2 days prior to O. We didn't BD on O day because we just didn't have time. Should we bother this evening or is our window closed by now?

BD schedule - quick question
I don't know how helpful I'll be since I'm new at this, but I had the same question the other day. I read this in a few articles:
After ovulation, the egg is only viable for about 24 hours -- so if you are waiting until you ovulate to have intercourse, chances are you are going to miss the opportunity to get pregnant that month," says Goldstein.
So, I guess my answer would be I dunno since it seems like bding before is more important but there's still a 24 hour window after O where the egg could still be viable??

Re: BD schedule - quick question
I *think* I read that the chance of getting pregnant after ovulation day is close to zero. We always did the day after I thought I ovulated, too, but that was just because I was tracking ovulation with wondfo OPKs so sometimes it was hard to tell if the line was getting darker.

Re: BD schedule - quick question
Thanks ladies. This is kind of what I thought too. I wish we had been able to BD yesterday on O day, but DH is a volunteer firefighter and Monday evenings are drills. He was out until 11:00PM and by then we were just too tired. Since we did it the 2 days before O, I didn't push it because I think we still have a pretty good shot, but I guess we'll see.

BD schedule - quick question
I would do it tonight, you never know. My sure way of knowing I O'd was to check if my cervix was closed. If it's closed it's pointless, but if it's even slightly open, get to it.

I don't even know how to check for this

BD schedule - quick question
I would do it. We did it the day before and the day after the smiley, not on the day I got my smiley. I'm currently 24 weeks.
