Looking for recommendations for therapists in Suffolk - CPSE
I am in the middle of the CPSE process for my son, who will be 4 in a few weeks. He was evaluated for speech and OT (for possible sensory issues) and now they want to do a 3rd eval for his behavior issues at school with someone in special ed. His behavior issues are mainly attention issues and poor impulse control.
He could possibly qualify for OT for sensory issues but we're not sure yet. However, the speech therapist says he has a significant delay in his articulation and will qualify for speech. I don't know about the behavior eval yet. I feel like this is leaning towards an ADHD issue but he's probably too young for a real diagnosis yet.
DS never qualified for services in prior evaluations so I haven't had to choose an agency for therapy before, just for the eval. Does anyone have any recommendations for speech and OT? I'm very new to this, a bit lost and very nervous. Any advice is greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Kidz Therapy. They have an office in Hauppague and in garden city. We are going through the eval process with the them now with my 3 year old and 5 year old sons. They are great.

I love Kidz therapy. I'm a school psychologist and this is the agency I selected to evaluate my child when pt and speech issues came up because I think highly of them working with them in my work setting.
