I received 2 car seat bases for my shower, set them up and got rid of the boxes. I now opened the car seat and to my surprise it came with a base. I was registered at BRU but wondering if Buy buy baby will allow me to return one with no box or receipt since it's something bed bath and beyond usually does. Or am I stuck trying to sell it?

Pretty sure you'd need at least a box. Buy Buy is a bit stricter than Bed Bath and Beyond but you could always try.

FYI00Buy Buy would probably return it with a box and without a receipt with a 20% restocking fee. I didn't have a receipt for something recently but since it was purchased off my registry, I was fine.

If you were registered at BRU for the items you will probably have better luck there. We had the same issue. We registered for 2 bases not realizing the travel system also came with a base. My MIL just had a birthday so we re-gifted her one of the bases so she can have it for her car.

Is there anyone who will take the baby at any point that can use the base? We ended up buying a 3rd base because we had one in each car but my mom also takes the baby a lot so she keeps the 3rd in her car.

They'll take it...they have plenty of things on their clearance shelves without packaging.
