Help us decide!
I am 28 weeks along and we are still in baby name hell since we can't seem to agree on what the other likes. Our last name is of Italian origin and 3 syllables - ending in A. Which would you pick?

Just wondering do you pronounce Avalina like Ava and Lina or with a long A like Aava li na.

I think that's why I like it. Because I've never heard of it. It's a form of Evelyn. Aveline is very popular French name.
However, I've mentioned it to our parents and they look at me like I am crazy. They tell me the name sounds made up. Part of me doesn't care and another part of me gets annoyed

It's a beautiful, strong name but it's a derivative of my name. DH loves it though. DS is already named after DH. Do you think it's stupid if we use it considering we would be naming her a name so close to mine and DS has DH's name?

I voted for Avalina. It's a beautiful combo of what we're naming our little girl, Ava, and my other favorite name, Adelina. And look at it this way, every name is made up!

I think Anabelle sounds best with a last name that ends in an a. Our last name is also Italian, 3 syllables, ending in an a and I was so mad that all the pretty names ending in a made her name sound "too pretty" if that makes sense.
