Just can't get the eating right and exercising
down at the SAME TIME! I'm either eating well(ish) and not exercising or in an awesome workout zone and out of control eating. WTF is wrong with me!? I'm so frustrated. I love food. I actually love working out now too. I do bootcamp 4 times a week for a month and see zero results (other than m stamina and I feel strong.) I just can't stop eating. I have an absolute sugar addiction. I feel like I need to be hypnotized or something! Ugh. OK rant over!

Weight loss is like 80% diet. Exercise is good for you but won't show much change without eating right.
I have done so many different plans. But I know that when im working out and not counting calories, the scale does not move. And it's not bc of the muscle I'm gaining , bc my clothes don't fit any better either. I do not lose unless I am counting.
You may be eating more because you are exercising. The more you burn, the more you need to consume to keep up. Maybe try keeping only healthy options around to eat. Pre plan.
Start small. Give yourself 5 days - M - F. Exercise AND track what you are eating. Starting small can help you get a better handle on things.

I have a hard time with this too. My only advice is based on what I try to do:
Allow myself a portion/1 serving of whatever I am craving.
Don't keep the junk in the house
Find healthy alternatives (pistachios for salt craving instead of chips, dried fruit instead of candy)
Always have a big bottle of water near me so I don't snack
Drink seltzer to stay full
Chew gum
If I want to snack after 9pm it's usually cause I'm tired so I just go to bed!

Something I have tried that has helped tremendously is not to eat processed food during the day (at least)
If I snack during the day it has to be fruit or veggies or a hard boiled egg.
I am eating food that are satisfying me now rather than crap or carbs
For dinner I eat whatever! Most of our meals are healthy ish but I try not to worry so much.
I eat dessert every night. maybe one cookie, animal crackers, ice cream
but eating right for the most part and not eating packaged foods during the day has helped alot!

UGH I FEEL YOU. ive tried combining eating right with exercise for 6 FULL months now but have made zero progress because for 2 weeks i ate horribly and seriously, 6 months have led to nothign!! its hard

Thanks for the support ladies! I think after a few days away and eating like absolute garbage, and going to the dr. and seeing the number on the scale, I have hit rock bottom (again lol). I am going to start the 21 Day Fix (again lol) tomorrow and pray I keep up the working out the way i am supposed to. I just packed my breakfast and lunch. Wish me luck, I'll need it! I just can't deal with the idea of me feeling uncomfortable and disappointed in myself for yet another summer!

This is what I do. For work I only pack things like fruit, veggies, nuts, plain greek yogurt, and cottage cheese - in addition to either a wrap or a sandwich. It (at least) keeps me on track for 10 hours of the day! When I go home, I try to have a sensible dinner and a small snack after dinner - I love the banana dippers from Dole - 100 calories and satisfies my chocolate craving. I think I might start making my own.
I also started the bikini body guide (BBG by Kayla Itsines) 9 weeks ago. I definitely do not have results like some of the women on IG, but I will say that my arms are definitely A LOT more toned. Some of the ab exercises she includes I can not do due to a medical condition - if I could I am sure that the results would be even better.
