Dh and I wanted a Rangers quilt and I couldn't find one. We actually had one made thru a vendor on etsy. She was so quick (8 days til it was in our hands) and her detail and craftsmanship is amazing.
Here's a link to her fb pg https://m.facebook.com/Customquiltsbyeva/

You really only need a sheet. Newborns can't use blankets and bumpers aren't safe. I had a whole set for my DS and 3 years later I never used the blanket even once. Didn't bother at all with DD.

we used the whole set we bought - when we moved DS to a toddler bed, we used the quilt that came with his nursery bedding for a while before getting him an actual toddler comforter set. We also used the diaper stacker and crib skirt that came with the set.

This time around, we have Sleepy Safari by Nature's Purest and Carter's Zoo Animals on our shortlist. We don't know what we are having and liked these two the best for gender neutral.

Two others I liked are Just Born Animal Kingdom and Petit Tresor Nuit Crib Bedding - you can find all of these on Buy Buy Baby's website.

Re: Boys Bedding

I'm a big PB fan. I like things with clean lines, simple. I also like that you can buy the pieces separate since I personally choose not to use bumpers - I don't use the "quilt" either, but I drape it over the rocker for decor purposes, lol.

For my first son, I did a nautical set they had at the time, red/navy/white. He's now 3 and we converted him to a regular bed and changed the theme to cars since he's obsessed...

So now for the 2nd, I'm eyeing this PB set...so one will have cars and the other planes.

I just bought DS blue quick zip sheets. No reason to spend extra money on a set since he can't use the extras anyway. At 22 months, he sleeps with a knitted blanket and a pbk blanket.

We are getting a super hero set made from etsy. I actually found a matching blanked on Amazon so they are only really making the sheet and the Valance.

Agreed! This time around I didn't even bother with the overpriced sets. Just sheets. I will get another set of wonder bumpers though. Loved my wonder bumpers for DD. Worth every penny.

I had been looking at those as an alternate option to the traditional crib bumpers! Seemed like such a good idea- glad to hear they were worth it.
